quick update on what happen over the last weekend

  the manifold for the wastegate pipe have been cut short 

 shining and much more cleaner than before!

injector swap from stock 1jz 380cc to stock jdm 2jz 440cc

left 1jz - right 2jz hmmm?

 went back to my hometown and go looking for a cheap 4 ft of 2 1/2 inch and a 1 ft 3 inch stainless steel pipes (for the new intercooler piping and air filter) found it!

next on the list is a 6 silicone hose joint with clamp,a couple hundred of cash and were of to my welder place  Za for single turbo conversion!

got a broken shoulder,due to a motorcycle accident yesterday~Look like Za will be resting at home for about 3 to 4 month

Front 2 the Back~

ok,so last week i sent my car over at Za,without further a due~here are the update

Za grinding the metal bracket to make way for a

smiling GTR intercooler!!finally!

since my car is kinda low, i ask Za to make an extra supporting bracket for the rear bumper~

so that the combined bumper (big win + stock bumper) can be easily slide in or removed in case anything happen :)

yes!back to using straight pipe twin tip..this time its 3 inch hehe

damn, im so happy and broke at the same time LOL~to make matter worst,i need a new battery...damn~hahahahaha

part 2 : axle roses no more

bought the x8 subframe a few month back..but been keeping it at a friend shop because not enough money to install it~

what i didnt know when i buy it,is the subframe/irs was from a gx81 model and not the jzx81..jz model use 6 allen key screw..oh well,on the bright side the ratio is 4.1 ratio:) and i send it over to Za to weld the diff..

after a week in the workshop this is how it look,noticed the rear is more lower than the front,because of this

Axle rose no more

after 17 year of service,the axle is finally put to rest~

part one : sound at the gate!

some of u might be wondering why does changing a clutch plate could take up to a week,here is why..

working on something most dont prefer, putting a wastegate on a twin turbo..because it won't last long, twin turbo installation is a bitch, and the single turbo is the easist way to go..since i got the wastegate and turbo at a bargain price,hey what the heck! my welder Za swear this is the last time he ever gonna do a thing like this..LOL i promise if the turbo dies again,im going for single turbo setup!

car is done yesterday,but we failed to get the wastegate to open and the boost spike up to 1.1bar and straight to boost cut~huhu that is too much pressure for the twin to handle...still working on it~

after all the parts installed,u can barely see the wastegate as that the only space available to put it..i like it that way make engine look stock hehe...

btw the clutch and gear shifting feel great,hehe and noted to self,never get too excited, silly me playing too much with gear causing my dashboard speaker cover to break into pieces,(dont ask how it happen hahaha) and mistaken pumping rm15 of Ron 97 fuel instead the regular Ron 95 at the time when im dead broke hahaha....duhhhhh~
