the famous joe40c mobile have been sold to a new owner recently..

cant help feeling sad that i wont be seeing it around anymore..

 i first met joe way back in 2005 during the DCM era and "white fender" was the trademark given for his 180sx

really hope the new owner will take a good care of it.
they said that legend are made,so whats important is the person that made it a legend..
im expecting the same thing on ur next build joe40c!

Car drives great, just feels more peaky with the cams (even though it's not). It actually makes me drive it better by being more aggressive. More throwing the car and clutch kicks. Yay. I know it's not the prettiest thing in the world but I don't know why more people aren't driving these cars (preaching to the choir here). It initiates and controls in drift so nicely. Stance coilovers and SerialNine suspension parts totally change it - and I still have a lot more to expand on.- Keith / loose seal

a little history on this vehicle~

its a 1974 Toyota KE35 4 door wagon

Eez bought it last year from an uncle in Melaka..at first he didn't want to sell it to him because the car is already booked by somebody else..after convincing the owner,on how serious he was about wanting the car..

i guess u already know right~

stock to the bone

rust is everywhere~but as a owner of a garage that is specialize in custom bodywork and car restoration it wouldn't be a problem..

this build is kinda slow and time consuming as Eez is focusing on his customer cars first..

as u can see the r32 subframe is up,new tube frame and floor pan is in process.

the B pillar is cut out as this war-gon will be transform into a 2 door..

about its heart,Eez is still considering on either a 6 cyclinder or 3 rotor..

i think that every single cent and time spend on rebuilding this car have been worth it..no matter how long it take to get it done..seeing this car on the driveway again yesterday, definitely put a smile on my face..with the sound of metal scrapping on the road each time there's un-even surfaced or when trying to pass a speed bump..it showed that nobody cars here is lower than his..some say its insane,not practical and ridiculous..i say go F*ck with them..this is ideology,where u do things that other people are too scared to do..hahaha...

lastly...i also want a wastegate!!...cant stand the sound of it when joe40c floored it...bzzzzz hahaha

got back from Joe40c house,

helping him install his 50mm Dmax wide body..

working class heroes..

done..he was thinking of getting 70mm koguchi power wide body,but its impossible to get it here in boleh land...why 70mm?hehehe...

i also tested how low his ride is after putting the side skirt....approximately 5cm from the ground.. WTFish!!!

this is why he opted for 70mm over the 50mm..the rim still sticking out bro hehe
