a meet in KL

Friday -19th August 12a.m

got an info from my fellow x8 owner,there's a gathering going down at Dataran Merdeka

once arrived,it was raining heavily and most of the guys decided to just stay inside the car

a total of eight x8, four x9 and a Verossa show up that night

we then headed to Bangsar food court for the drinks and talk kok sing song session LOL

the last time i meet these guys was last year i think

after the rain stopped~we went back to Dataran Merdeka

parked on the side of the road,we flooded the area with 4 door love~

its funny seeing the face of the people passing by~the look of trying to figure out what sort of car this is hehe

since this car came with KAAZ 2way LSD, the owner didn't shy to show some burnout and tail sliding on the wet road hehe

Day of the X

Sunday 25th July 2010,the day finally came,and im excited to meet the fellow X8 owners for the 3rd time..the gathering starts at 4pm..i went for a wedding first in kajang and meet up Jaul,before we headed to Shah Alam..

its been raining since afternoon...and federal highway is quite congested even on sunday~wtf!

we are the first one to arrived at the location..isk..i was beginning to worry they might not show up

but as the time past by,the gang show up one by one,filling the empty car park and the restaurant

a total of 13 G/JZ X8 shown up from dead stock looks to the ultimate jdm style

not forgetting 1 jza70 supra and 2 celica supra members came to show their support over the gathering..

red seems to be a special color that day,as everyone was drooling over the soarer jzz30 that have just been imported recently from japan, kudos to the owner for having a big balls bring it over without any registration number yet hehe

and this red jzx80 which is also my favorite car of the day..perfect in every way...but need just a little bit of lowering down the car hehe

around 6pm we left the restaurant and decided to make a quick trip to the Dataran Shah Alam,we cause the traffic to slow down as the were watching the convoy of the Toyota clan..

once arrived we park and continue our chit chat and taking photo session

2 jzx80 that i think qualify to be the X8 representative

time is almost half past 7 pm, and its time for me to make a move as i have a family dinner that night..but before i leave we manage to take a group photo together and discuss future planning for the next event..

i would like to thanks all the guys that shown up that day,including Amat Dx, Nick, and Inche Helmi Dori-Dori..lets do it again next time :)

i was thinking of doing a Mini X8 gathering this Friday night at Restoran Yus Bangi,around 10pm.((actually i wanna do it some place else but considering Jyu isn't really fit for a long drive (turbo issue) i decided to go some place nearer))...coz im meeting a new member by the name of Salik, and his gx81...supposedly its just the two of us..so if any of u got a free time,why dont u came and join me :)

Fight for our right!

Thursday 5th Nov 09,Shah Alam,Selangor Classic Volkswagen Owners Club have organize a gathering to Boycott against the new National Automotive Policy NAP(plz refer my previous post) today and have invited others car club as well to join them in this fights...the plan is to get as many name as they could to fill up the memorandum,that later to be sent to the Government...around 50 cars came to show their support...

the crowd,and the club president been interviewed by the press...

the rational that they can come up with..

mini and vw join forces in this event,not to forgetting other car club that i didnt manage to take pic

closed up of Prince Takumi ex-car the TE71..he did one hell of the job restoring this ride...damn nice this car...i like huhu...no wonder the new owner didnt mind paying rm20k+ for a 1980 something car ;p

spotted Man Rc Drifter Cresta as well,plz ignore the 86 hahaha

overall i dont know if the memorandum is going to effect/change or not the NAP,but atleast we try our best rather than we sit around talk the endless talk,and at the end of the day we gain nothing but hate or anger....
