Travel : Yogyakarta Part 2

The next day we went to Pantai Timang, Gunung Kidul, a 2 hour 20 minute drive from Yogyakarta town centre
to reach the beach,we need to pay 50,000 rupiah per person for a motorcycle ride.
the 10 minute motorcycle ride was very thrilling because no proper tar road leading to the beach and the local there tend to ride very fast.
all i can think of is don't fall, don't fall lol.

but it was worth it,as the view was insanely beautiful!
the local originally use the gondola to go to the other side for lobster fishing.
you can also ride it for 150k rupiah (going and back)

Fyi, the gondola is made out of wood :D

keep it clean people!
the lobster fisher?
the local claim that the gondola was perfectly safe, with no case of it falling into the sea reported.

Time passed by really fast when you're having fun, it was already 4pm and we haven't had our lunch yet.
Still in Gunung Kidul area, our driver "Pak Agus" suggested we go to this restaurant called "Warung 7Engger" on the side of road of Bukit Bintang (not Bukit Bintang KL)

Travel : Yogyakarta Part 1

hey,i just got back from Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
here is part 1
two mountain in the sky
from the Adisucipto International Airport,it took about 45 minute drive to get to the hotel
this is where im staying in Yogyakarta
"Istana Batik" Hotel
just a walking distance from the town centre.
reasonable price and very comfortable, liking the oldskool indonesian style
only downside is that, the hotel is very near to the train station,so you can actually hear the train coming every 30 minute.
(not a problem for me,as i am a sleeping dead lol)
Halal food is easy to find as 90% of people in Yogyakarta are Muslim
Malioboro street is pretty happening during night time

horse cart or "kereta kuda"
Malioboro is definitely the place for shopping and buying souvenir

keren~

can you spot a Valak ghost? (Conjuring) haha

train passing on the street
the train station i was mentioning before
