Travel : Yogyakarta Part 2

The next day we went to Pantai Timang, Gunung Kidul, a 2 hour 20 minute drive from Yogyakarta town centre
to reach the beach,we need to pay 50,000 rupiah per person for a motorcycle ride.
the 10 minute motorcycle ride was very thrilling because no proper tar road leading to the beach and the local there tend to ride very fast.
all i can think of is don't fall, don't fall lol.
*click for panoramic view
but it was worth it,as the view was insanely beautiful!
the local originally use the gondola to go to the other side for lobster fishing.
you can also ride it for 150k rupiah (going and back)

Fyi, the gondola is made out of wood :D

keep it clean people!
the lobster fisher?
the local claim that the gondola was perfectly safe, with no case of it falling into the sea reported.
Zwan,Mechanics Street wear unpaid model.
Time passed by really fast when you're having fun, it was already 4pm and we haven't had our lunch yet.
Still in Gunung Kidul area, our driver "Pak Agus" suggested we go to this restaurant called "Warung 7Engger" on the side of road of Bukit Bintang (not Bukit Bintang KL)

another restaurant with the same stunning view

Travel : Yogyakarta Part 1

hey,i just got back from Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
here is part 1
two mountain in the sky
from the Adisucipto International Airport,it took about 45 minute drive to get to the hotel
this is where im staying in Yogyakarta
"Istana Batik" Hotel
just a walking distance from the town centre.
reasonable price and very comfortable, liking the oldskool indonesian style
only downside is that, the hotel is very near to the train station,so you can actually hear the train coming every 30 minute.
(not a problem for me,as i am a sleeping dead lol)
Halal food is easy to find as 90% of people in Yogyakarta are Muslim
Malioboro street is pretty happening during night time

horse cart or "kereta kuda"
Malioboro is definitely the place for shopping and buying souvenir

keren~

can you spot a Valak ghost? (Conjuring) haha

train passing on the street
the train station i was mentioning before

Final Bout 2 keep drifting fun!

0:46
"Just all of us having fun and being ridiculous, that's the essence of drifting to me, it's not about who is the best or who have the most horse power or something like that. Having a blast with friends."

well said! each person have a different level of happiness and not all of us like to compete :)
Final Bout has always been one of our inspiration and reason why we did Drift Finale every year
(since 2014).

The Metal Pandas

Since last saturday (August 6) was 86 day,i guess it's not too late to make a post about one Hachiroku shop i visited in Kyoto last year.
Carland AE86 is a shop that restore and sell hachiroku
like this levin
and the trueno pandas!
the condition of the cars that was rebuild here look like it came out of the factory!
20v Blacktop engine that is going in on one of the 86
aaaaa the iconic 4age,i remember my old ke70 using the same engine, such a fun combo
a fanboy must know all these stickers right?
during my visit, the shop was busy preparing the cars for initial D legend movie roadshow, that explains why there a so many takumi spec 86 around lol
