just wondering am i making the right decision??
think before u act,but if u think so much u never act....
ask the "Pioneer" yesterday, he said to go for it...
saying "how long more must u wait?" "there are also few things that u have to consider on ur search"
1) need to find a Jzx81 manual h/cut
2) if u found it,it's manual alright but the price is high, condition is crap, and not up to ur expectation then what's next?look for other option, search again and wait??
3) u also want it to come with IRS (independent rear suspension) which is rarely available...
"the conclusion is u cant never get it in the perfect condition...just take the auto h/cut first, then find r154 g/box slowly, at least the car will be in running condition, rather then just sitting there and been eaten by the sun and rain....Remember that Toyota didnt produce Manual version on the Jzx81...all of them been convert by the japanese...u already got the clutch pump and paddle from the 2L diesel engine,so thats a advantage... "
hmmm guess i waited long enough...hmmmm tell me if its worth it?

The X Invasion!!
Since i left work late yesterday at 8pm,i decided to go to X8 Gathering with my 125z..looking at the list of members that will be going in DCM,only 2 or 3 name include myself..i arrived early around 9.45pm..shortly after that a second member Man a.k.a Rc Drifter arrived and parked his Cresta at the Esso gas station...next as expected the Banting guys came with 3 mark II (they said 4 or 5 guys from their place cant make it...)The organizer of this gath Naveen a.k.a Sidewaysgrey came shortly with his chaser..and i thought that would be just about it,but i was wrong,as the time slowly passed, one by one X8 members starting to fill up the space at Esso, making a total of 14 cars last night,it was really unexpected hehe...the scene was even happening as the Mr. El-Presidente show up with his Ultimate Rides,a stock 1jz n/a with chassis code of Jzx81...not to forgeting the 2 supra Jza70 that came for the support..huhu...
As the Esso closed its light at 12am,we decided to go for a drive to Shah Alam and continue our discussion over at the Mamak Restaurant near there...
lets ride,1jz inside!
with this kind of support,i can assure that the next x8series TT will become bigger and better..hehe as for now lets wait for picture from the lens of Man and Din a.k.a conflict tuning...
btw here some more pic from my h/p at

Budget Destination..
One of our Dcm member Hafiz a.k.a Xpitt got married last week at Penang,so Nick Gad,Amat Dx, Latip Ke70 and me decided to go the wedding, and since were there,we figured out it wouldnt be fun to be in Penang if we dont go the island..and so we did...
our transportation is a Perodua Myvi 1.3cc...comfy and fuel efficient hehe..toll and fuel budget is roughly around rm200 (RM50 per person)
Jetty at Seberang Perai, waiting for the ferry...charges (RM7.70 per car)its more exciting compare than using the bridge to enter the island..
Penang Island...
thinking of how deep the sea is...hehe
aproaching, the landmark for the island is the "Komtar Tower"
then we make our way to Batu Feringgi, upon there,we search for the cheapest place to crash for the the night..found a cozy apartment with the price of RM180 per night (so RM45 per person)
next stop to the Beach,(infront of soon to be open Hard Rock Hotel Penang)
we set up a tent to keep our belonging, and dive straight in...
the sunset at Batu Feringgi Beach....nice isnt it
Before we leave the next day,we went to the famous "Nasi Kandar Restaurant" in Penang
yeah,ur reading it right "Line Clear"is the name of Restaurant....located in heart of the Georgetown...Food and Drinks for a person will cost u up to RM7 depend on the item u take...
Finally its time to say goodbye to the lovely Penang Island...to the historical place, the lovely chicks hehe and everything it got to offer....we left the island around 2pm,quick stop at Ipoh,Perak..and back to Kuala Lumpur...
Overall i have a great time there,is been a while since i went for a holiday....my overall expenses for the trip is around RM150...really worth it..many2 thanks to Nick, Amat and Latip for inviting me..maybe i'll go on another trip with Jyu someday hehe....

Lets go Hunting part 2....
i know most of y'all been waiting for an update,so here it goes....
for the past 2 weeks,i been rounding out chop shop mostly in klang valley area,in the search for jzx81 manual halfcut, sad to say that around 30 shop that i been to,only 3 x8 half cut that i found...1 diesel,1g-gte and 1jz auto..
here's the 1jz auto, with aftermarket crack bumper, spoiled Fet turbo timer,
hks twin air filter with stainless steel pipe
and a Greddy front mount intercooler...
but.....the price is too expensive for an auto trans (almost equal to manual h/c) and there some oil leak on the engine...
as for the diesel and 1g-gte halfcut.....i dont bother to take pic hehe...*edited*but this is also not worth taking pic also...
*edited upon discussion with Eddy G,it is confirm that this is W58 g/b not R154...huhu (frustrated)
http://freedom-spec.blogspot.com/2008/10/r154-vs-w58.html
other pic
for Amat, toyopet (seriously i never seen this h/c or this car before in my life...there's an corona emblem on the side)
for Kuntom,Joe40c and Yus.....dead 180,14,and 32 cuts....
this esp for Yus...a set of creasta seat, selling but quite expensive rm750 a set...he dont want to sell it separately....
levin cut anyone??
lastly for nick hehe....but this not Sorona...(soarer + corona) its ex-soon yeen Jzx80 with soarer facelift...and if im not mistaken its for sale around rm2+k..
wanna make arches like this huhu...btw the rear axle is from a toyota Hilux huhu...
until the next part,to be contiuned...
